This guide will show you how to schedule a catalogue in the eStore module.
As some of the catalogues used in EQ Software contain a lot of data, this is reflected in the size of file used in eStore, when exporting products to the site.
So rather than use up your PC and Network’s bandwidth, you can schedule the exporting of catalogues to a more convenient time (i.e in the evening) and create a queue of catalogues rather than export one at a time.
On exporting a catalogue, you will be presented with the following screen.
Catalogue: This is the name of the catalogue you’ve selected to export.
Update Details: This is the size of the export file.
Email confirmation to: This is the email address that will receive export status emails
(complete or otherwise)
Send to website:
With Send Now selected: Clicking the Schedule Update button will simply put the catalogue into a list to push immediately one after another.
With Delay Until selected: You can select a time delay to send the catalogues,
(e.g. later in the evening)
To view the status of your catalogue exports:
Right-Click on the small EQ Icon sitting in your task tray, then View eStore Scheduled Jobs.
This will show you a list of the catalogues you have sent for export, and their real time status.
If you are the initiator of the export, you will be presented with the option to reschedule or cancel the catalogue.
