This article will show you how to update the Email templates in the CMS section.
Certain functions on the site send automated email templates, such as new customer registrations or new orders placed, the CMS allows you to amend these templates.
From the top nav go to: CMS > eCommerce > Ecomms Templates > Email Templates
On the left column, the current email templates are listed below. Once selected it will have a green arrow next to it.
Templates:
- Forgotten Details
- Order Confirmation
- Order Status Change
- Out of office
- Registration
Select any of the Templates and click on the Edit button to amend the text. The tags are the dynamic information i.e. [NAME] that will output the customers info. - Template Name | This is the name for your own reference.
Template Format | This is defaulted to HTML and is best left as this.
Email From | This is the address you’d like the email to appear to be sent from.
Subject | Just like a standard email, this is the Subject Line - Once you’ve completed the email, click on the Update button to save the changes.
