From the Top navigation Hover over Website – then click on SEO Settings, to save any changes, you should see a menu on the right-hand side, hover over and Click Update
Meta Settings
The meta rules for SEO are relentlessly & forever changing, but the main areas covered naturally by search engine robots are the Meta Title, Meta Keywords & Meta Description.
Meta Title | What is this page all about?
You should use the most important keywords (search phrases) in your title. For example, if the most important keyword for your page is blue widgets you may use a title tag such as “Blue Widgets from Blue Widget Manufacturing” But you can emphasise more than one keyword, such as “Blue Widgets, Round Blue Widgets, and Square Blue Widgets”
Meta Keywords | What specific words best apply
These are the words that best describe the website page and should really be words that appear in the site page copy.
It is sometimes suggested that if you can’t specify 10-15 main keywords from the actual page copy, then the page content is possibly rambling or of poor quality. If more than one topic is covered on a site page, this may create too many keywords, which would suggest the page topics may need to be split across more than just this one page
Basic Guideline:
1 – Don’t over optimise with an exhaustive list of keywords, 10-15 is ample to start with.
2 – Separate the words with just a comma.
3 – Don’t repeat words or phrases
4 – Put you most important keywords at the start of the list.
Robots
Also known as crawlers, the crawler can access the URL on the website, you can also manage the traffic of how many crawlers you wish to crawl the website, so if you want one or two crawling the website, just type 1 or 2 in the text box, once they access the site, their job is to read the meta tag and not index this meaning the pages can be seen online search engines such as Google
If you would like to do this for each single page instead of doing this for all pages, you can.
To access the SEO screen, navigate Pages then click on any page such as Home where Edit Page Specification is available:
If you scroll down, you can see the page ‘Meta Settings’, it does the same thing as the Master SEO settings, but this is for page-by-page basis.
