This article will show you how to add images to the CMS Gallery Module:
The Gallery Manager enables you to create separate galleries for display on multiple pages of the site. This gives you greater control of your content as you can upload any images whenever you want from any PC with internet access.
If you go to the top navbar and hover over Gallery, you should then see this section in the CMS:
To generate a new Gallery, select the option Add a new Gallery, where you will be asked to give the gallery a name. Enter a name for the gallery and select Add
This generates a gallery link in column 2. Each Gallery is given a unique ID, so they can easily be referenced for different sections of the site individually.
[GALLERY:id=2&type=heading] If you add this tag it will display the heading
[GALLERY:id=2&type=images] If you add this tag it will display the images
Now the gallery link has been created, you are now able to upload images to it. Click on a gallery name, then select the option Upload Images from the right-hand column
This screen enables you to upload multiple images to one gallery.
To select an image to upload, click on the first Choose File button, and select the desired image. Repeat this for each of the image upload buttons
(10 at a time MAX)
When completed select Upload Once the files have completed uploading, the CMS will return to the same option as on the left to upload a further set of images.
If you change your mind and don’t wish to use the gallery anymore, just press Delete or click on the On/Off lightbulb icon button, overlay white transparent background colour means it is off.
You can also, Drag/Move the gallery images to whichever order you want to see first and last on the live website.
Images can also be individually labelled, and a short description given for each. On an individual image, click on the top icon to the right of the image place holder, and you will be presented with the following screen.
Save Live, this will automatically change this for you on the life website. If you want to change this back to how it was, you can click Restore Archive From (Date)
Refresh i.e. Home page to view the new sites changes.
