We have updated our CMS and underlying code across Microsoft Azure servers to enhance user experience and apply updated security patches.
New Features:
- The 'Price Estimator' tool is a newly developed feature for kitchens that enables users to quickly select items and estimate costs based on style, size, worktop materials, and appliances.
- The 'Save Feature' on an eStore website allows users to bookmark products using a basket key for future purchase decisions. The save basket feature has been enhanced and updated to offer a more user-friendly experience, now accessible to all eStore Level 2 and 3 customers.
-
Google reCAPTCHA was implemented to combat spam from bots and enhance customer security.
Payment Gateway:
- Opayo gateway was updated in this release to ensure PCI compliance, incorporating changes made by the Opayo development team. This update was backdated to comply with requirements effective March 31st, 2024, ensuring compliance even for those still on version 2.26.
Fixes:
- The Payment Gateway module in the CMS > eCommerce underwent UX changes to enhance clarity, ensuring users know what they are saving.
- The issue with reordering styles in the Showcase module has been resolved.
- The stepped checkout process has been thoroughly tested and is recommended for implementation going forward.
- Yearly security issues identified by the Pen testers, such as preventing cross-site scripting, have been addressed to ensure PCI compliance.
