When importing a new catalogue into your eStore module, you can label the Brands as you prefer. For example, 'April Products' could be set up to only say 'April' as it is nice and short to display on the website brand section.
- Open eStore Setup from the main EQ toolbar, then click on 'Brands' from the dropdown menu.
-
- Additionally, you can add some useful introductions for that brand from the 'Notes' tab section.
- Click Update to save changes.
The next step is to group your brands with your chosen catalogue data. You can do this when importing a new catalogue or by selecting a pre-existing catalogue and mass grouping the settings to assign the brands.
Select your products:
- Individual products
- Several products
- Whole type/category products i.e. Aquadart Bath Screens
- Whole catalogue folder i.e. Aquadart
Select Multiple products
Splitting brands into different sections is a smart way to organise products in catalogues. For instance, in the Aquadart catalogue, they have both bath products and taps. Making separate brands like 'Aquadart Baths' and 'Aquadart Taps' is a practical move. It helps keep things organised, making it easier for customers to find what they're looking for in each category on the website online.
- To achieve this > Open eStore Setup from the main EQ toolbar, then click on 'Brands' from the dropdown menu and separate the brands e.g. Aquadart Baths, Aquadart Taps, Aquadart Showers.
- The next step from the eStore Setup > EQ toolbar, is to click on 'Collection' from the dropdown menu and add your brand name e.g. April, Aquadart, Aqualisa, Armera, B.C.Designs ect.
Click 'Update' to save changes and then 'Export' to push data to the site.
Additionally, apply the above next step, which is to group your brands with your chosen catalogue data.
Below is an example of the Bath department, where only relevant catalogue products containing bath products will be shown. This process is not necessary; however, enhancing the data provides you with more control and makes it more user-friendly for customers.
